再生能源
馬灣公園與香港理工大學合作，在公園開發多套可再生能源系統，向公眾灌輸珍惜資源和可持續發展的環保訊息。可再生能源系統產生的電力，供應公園內部份照明、電腦、水池設施、和冷暖氣所需，同時可減少使用傳統能源化石燃料所產生的污染。
太陽能系統
太陽能系統 - 利用十八塊太陽能光伏板可產生三千瓦的電力，太陽能照明燈不需電纜和變壓器，每個皆可獨立運作，太陽能追蹤器能像向日葵追跟蹤太陽，達到最佳發電效果。
風光互補發電系統 - 風光互補發電系統將兩種發電方式結合起來，提高整個系統的供電可靠性。
風能系統
風能系統 –建於再生能源基地的兩台風車，高12米，耐強風，利用風能可産生共12千瓦電能直接輸入公園裏的低壓電網，從而減少電網內的能源消耗
水電系統
水電系統 – 設於高處的水池儲水儲能，利用水向下傾注的落差產生電能。
地源熱泵系統
地源熱泵系統 – 由兩個垂直和兩個傾斜的32米深鑽孔及埋管組成，利用地下蓄熱的特性提供熱源或冷源。
生物質能系統
生物質能系統 – 利用固體廢物如動物糞便、枯葉等分解轉化為能量，可用於燒烤，煮飯和照明。
